Grad Project: behind the scene blackberry

I had the wonderful opportunity of having the chief editor of Core77 critique my project when he came over to Emily Carr 1 month before the project deadline.

Alan pointed out something quite significant. The above video was the criteria that I was working with at the time, being able to downsize after opening the packaging. The video was the first working prototype actually and when Alan came over, I had made some changes. Mainly because the one above had the issue of mass shipment. But after solving the shipping problem, the project really lost it's wow factor. Alan noticed this and pointed it out.

Agreeing with Alan completely, I began reworking the whole project last minute. Eventually I went back to people's comments about transforming the packaging into a dock. Through an intense 1 month of prototyping, I am very pleased with the results and definitely proud of myself for completing the project in such a short time! Thanks Alan for the wonderful critique!
